My name is Matthew Steiner and I work for VMware, based in Scotland. I’ve spent the last 20 years in IT vendor land, working for Compaq, HP, IBM and now VMware. I started my life in VMware as a Systems Engineer (SE) and started this blog as SeInTheCloud. In August 2016 I joined VMware’s Cloud Management Business Unit as their Cloud Management Technologist for EMEA.
In the new role I thought I should change the name so the blog is now CloudyTechnologist.
As well as being a blog about VMware, Cloud Automation, Enterprise Management and such, I thought I would have a small section on what it is like to work in IT Vendor Land.
